Pan Cakes

Ingredients :

  1. Egg - 1
  2. Sugar(powdered) - 4 tbsp
  3. Milk - ¾ cup
  4. All-purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  5. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  6. Salt - ¼ tsp
  7. Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
  8. Vanilla essence - 3 drops

 

Preparation :

  1. In a bowl add Egg and powdered sugar. Whisk till its fluffy.
  2. Pour milk to it and whisk it well.
  3. Add sifted flour/maida, baking powder, salt and whisk till no lumps are formed.
  4. Pour cooking oil and vanilla essence to it. Whisk it well.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan then pour about 3/4 ladle of the batter onto the pan.
  6. Once bubbles start to form and pop on the top surface that’s when its ready to flip our pancake. Also when the edge starts to set and gets a bit dry then its ready to flip. Once we see this flip the pan cake and cook till it turns to light brown.
  7. Repeat the same with remaining batter.
  8. Serve it with honey or maple syrup.
